What a Williamson County storm cleanup looks like

A storm can leave a yard buried in limbs, a trunk across a pasture, or a lane blocked at the gate. We bring a Kubota KX057-5 excavator with a thumb, a Kubota SVL 97-2 track loader and a dump trailer, and we pull, stack, load and haul what the machines can safely reach. We are based in Lawrenceburg and take storm work in Williamson County as larger jobs, not as an emergency call-out.

Jobs we take

  • Trees that came down across a lawn, paddock or fence
  • Limbs pulled off a gate, shed or driveway
  • Trunks and brush blocking a farm lane
  • Debris scattered over acreage that has to be opened up again
  • Smoothing the ground where the tracks left marks

What we will not do

Three limits up front. No climbing, trimming or bucket-truck work. No emergency or overnight response. No mulching or chipping. A tree resting on a structure or near a line needs a tree service, an arborist or the utility before we can start, and insurance claims are yours to take up with your insurer.

Before you call

Take photos of the damage before anything moves, especially if you plan to file a claim. Keep people and pets away from hung-up limbs and anything near a line. Then call us with the address, what is down, and anything that limits access such as gates, soft ground, fences or a septic field.

How the cleanup runs

  1. Call or send photos with the quote form of the damage.
  2. Free on-site quote. We sort what our equipment can handle from what a tree service must do first.
  3. Hazard check. You show us power lines, wells, septic lids and what the trunk is lying on.
  4. Pull, cut and stack with the excavator and track loader.
  5. Load out and a last walk around the ground with you.

When the storm washed out the lane too

Heavy rain with the wind can also wash out a lane, which is a driveway regrade or a ditch and culvert repair. Growth around the damage can be cut back as land clearing. Our main storm write-up is on the storm damage cleanup page.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer emergency or after-hours storm response in Williamson County?

No. We run no emergency line and no overnight crew. Our phone is answered on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at (931) 458-1500. Tell us what happened and we will be straight about whether we can help and how soon someone could see it.

Why is this only for larger cleanups?

Everything we use is trailered from 355 Tripp Road in Lawrenceburg, and nothing is stationed in Williamson County. Several trees, a blocked lane or acres of debris justify the trip; one small limb does not.

A tree is leaning on my house. Can you take it down?

No. Anything still standing and dangerous, such as a trunk propped against a roof, snagged in neighboring branches or resting on a wire, needs a licensed tree service or arborist, and the power company if a line is involved. When it is down and our machines can get to it, we handle the cleanup.

How big a tree or limb can you move?

Our equipment is rated for material up to 10 inches thick. A bigger trunk gets a look on site first, and if the excavator cannot move it safely, you hear that before any work begins.

Do you chip or mulch the debris?

No, we neither mulch nor chip. Limbs and trunks are cut down, stacked and carried away in the dump trailer.

Will you deal with my insurance company?

No, claims are between you and your insurer, and we cannot predict what one will pay. If you plan to file, photograph the damage first and ask your insurer what paperwork they want.
