Good to know
What is the difference between brush hogging and land clearing?
Brush hogging cuts brush, briars, saplings and small trees up to 10 inches down where they stand. Land clearing takes out the bigger trees, stumps and roots with the excavator and hauls the debris so the ground can be built on. Not sure which you need? We will walk it with you.
Do you do tree removal?
Yes, as part of clearing. We drop and push over trees with the excavator on large lots, house sites, fence lines and overgrown property, then pull the stumps and root balls and clear the debris. We are not a bucket-truck, tree-trimming or arborist service, and we do not do stump grinding as a stand-alone job.
How much does land clearing cost?
It depends on the acreage, how thick the growth is, the terrain and what you want the ground to look like. We come out, walk the property and give you a free on-site quote.
Can you clear a fence line or pasture?
Yes. Fence lines, pastures, overgrown fields and wooded lots are all common jobs.
Can you build the pad after you clear?
Yes. We can strip topsoil and grade a pad for a house, shop or barn once the lot is open. We can also haul in fill dirt and gravel from local quarries.
Is the quote really free?
Yes. All quotes and estimates are free.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Middle TN Grading & Clearing is licensed and insured.
